The Meaning
“Gather Round” was a special project for our family as it was the only reason we left the house during the 2020 COVID pandemic quaratine. We had grown close to the folks working at Southern Strain and they invited us to come hang outside and paint something inspiring on their front loading dock wall.
At the time, “Gather Round” was Southern Strain’s hashtag to communicate the longing for community gatherings.
